The Lucie Blackman Trust is piloting its new teaching guide this autumn in a number of schools.

"Personal Safety - Teaching Guide" has been carefully prepared, working with existing teachers and coursework designers.

The guide covers all aspects of personal safety for teachers in schools.

This pilot edition covers such topics as:

Out and About;
Using Transport;
Drink and Drugs;
Looking Safe - use of body language;
The importance of staying in touch;
Going to University or College;

and much more.

It has been designed to be a thought invoking process, instilling in students three key points - Awareness, Prevention and Protection.
